Hi guys, I know I'm seriously a lousy group creator, and feel guilty for neglecting this nice little food group, but it doesn't seem to be the grandest place to post recipes...
But I had some requests for a few Thanksgiving dishes we make, and did a blog post on it... Take a look if your in a 'last minute idea mood'... And do try the stuffing/dressing,(unless of course, Stove top is your thing!)It's my favorite part of dinner and it's simple.
Take Care, and Happy Turkey Day

Another awesome blog site I have been addicted to is Our Best Bites. It was on The Daily Digi not long ago and I've tried a few things off of it. Sooo amazing! www.ourbestbites.com

I don't know why I didn't think of this sooner, but as I was baking chicken with shake-n-bake I thought of chicken strips. So I just cut up chicken breasts into strips, coat them in shank-n-bake extra crispy mix, and bake for 20 minutes! They are delicious! My husband loves them, and my sister's kids gobble them up like crazy!

Made a really easy broccoli salad yesterday... Grate the broccoli, add diced purple onion, smoked gouda cheese, craisins, bacon. Mix Mayo and a little vinegar with a teaspoon or so of sugar and mix together. It's simple, and I liked it better than regular broccoli salads because you're not chewing on large chunks of broccoli, and it's easy for the kids to eat!
I also tried the ice cream recipe from Pioneer Woman, and it was really good. I made Vanilla, and Cherry Almond. First time making homemade ice cream and it was DeLiCiOuS...

A great blog for recipes is Pioneer Woman. She has some great step by step recipes! She also has a Photography section at her blog and I think she shares Photoshop actions. This is a fun blog that's definitely worth checking out! Oh, and she's very funny!!

I just read on my home page that eating whole grain cereals for breakfast, with nuts and fruit, is very good for you. Now I don't have to feel guilty for having the same old breakfast every morning -- cheerios, nuts, and either blueberries, strawberries and bananas. Go whole grains!

I am an avid cook and collector of recipes - I have three big binders with all the clippings from the various food magazines. Will share some good ones with you! Also LOVE photographing food - went through a period of time when I really wanted to be a food stylist. :D Never happened though, LOL
