@Stephanie Hi girl ... Your blog is cute! It takes a lot of time to document and photograph everything. There are a lot of places online with blog backgrounds that are really cute and I like to change mine up every now and then.
yes, the Oh! Places I've Been layout seemed easy to do. I joined the Hybrid Scrapbooking group and have been posting some challenges but there has not been too much interest. Maybe 3 of us. I decided to wrap the challenges into my Blog. It does require more effort to print out projects and layer with paper/embellishments. I took some beautiful photos of Jacqueline {21} and will probably use them in this weeks challenge - due tomorrow. I've started decorating again so I'm not sure how much time I'll be able to devote to my blog. And I need more casual photos of family - always at sporting events. {which is why I took some photos of Jacq & glad I did!} The photography class will help with that, I'm sure.
I have just started printing - requires a lot of ink. I'm thinking that it's cheaper to get projects printed elsewhere because ink is soooo expensive. And you really have to organize or get into that habit. It was nice getting the project into an album tho. The quality was not as nice as paper but digital scrapbooking is fun.
Have fun with your new class! Good luck with school!

Geez... can you tell I'm scattered!? Here's the link to my blog - it's nothing special, it was just created in the spring to give my friends and family an archive of the arts and crafts projects I do. When I have time I'll get to add some character to it.

Oh... and I'm also working on getting some materials set up to teach some friends (and possibly other teachers at my kiddos school) how to digi scrapbook.

Julie - Checked out your blog. That's a cute layout. Are you printing the digi papers and such?
I got a kick out of your Oh the places layout... I did one at the end of June for the challenges they were doing here and since then have seen it come up as a challenge on another site and now yours... lol! http://www.jessicasprague.com/cpg/displayimage.php?album=favpics&cat=0&pos=0
I start school myself next week as well - even though I have only two classes I'll be focused on getting my own ecommerce site up and running along building games for a school carnival. What I wouldn't give for a dull moment! (Had to hit the Dr. today and get meds for a sinus infection) :(

@Stephanie You must have been swamped! It's very rewarding to give back to the community, especially when your children are involved. Good for you, girl! I cannot wait to see the photos of what you put together for them. Let me know your blog address. I'm trying to get a hybrid-digiscrap challenge going in that group & if any of you would like to join, please do! I'm looking for other member who would like to come up with weekly challenge posts ... Speaking of ... I need to get working on it. Here's my blog address for the 1st one I did ... www.papiercreatif.blogspot.com I thought it turned out pretty cute and has a bit of a western, earthy edge.
I think us moms will all have more time once the kids are back in school!

Glad you enjoyed DesignerDigitals!
Sorry I've been sparse -- this was the week of the scrapbook camp for my daughter and her friends. It went VERY well and the kids were so excited to finish a whole book. I did remember to take pictures of the layouts, but I'll not be able to post them to my blog until after school starts -- there's just too much to do between now and then. Hope you are all doing well, it seems like most of us have been pretty sparse in here lately.

@Jamie That's what I like about taking *JS* classes, kinda forces you to get projects done, on top of learning new techniques too. I signed up for the 20 days / 20 layouts class in late August. Cannot wait!
