Man, I'll bet your financial planner was a little miffed about the error.

I love our UPS guy. They always bring the packages around to our house about 7.00 in the morning, so I especially love my UPS guy because every time he sees me, I'm in my jammies, my hair is a mess and I have no makeup on. And he's still nice to me and looks at me like he doesn't notice that I look insane. There was only one time that he showed up that I was already dressed and ready for work. You could tell by the look of shock on his face that he hardly recognized me. lol

Oh, Greg and I practiced lifting the stove today to see if we could get it out to the curb, and it seems doable. We also partly uninstalled the microwave to make sure we could get it out before we tried to install the new one, and that also seems doable. So the next step is to call the appliance recyclers to see if they consider Mason to be in the Cincinnati pick up area, and if so, then I'll order the new appliances and arrange for the old ones to be removed.

Even though I will feel bad about losing my nicely matching applicances (sniff). I am rather excited about using the mini oven, though.

That's awful that the local vs online price has such a discrepancy! Our stores here won't even stock the very high end lenses, probably because everyone buys online for such a big investment.

By the way she asked Sue why Murhpy was a boy. lol When Sue said just because she is Alyssa wanted to know if she could change into a girl. lol Sue thought it was quite funny and just wasn't sure what to say to her. lol

I'm sorry I led you astray, Sheralee! Bad Adorama. Sometimes what I want goes out of stock just as I'm ordering it. It's terribly annoying.

Jenny, my husband is wonderful in most ways, but an artist he is not. He often comments, "That's the best picture I've seen of [Aidan or Alex] in a long time," and it's typically a shot by someone else using direct flash and that whole blown out look. He also doesn't get taking pictures for art's sake. He didn't say anything, but I know he thought the water drops and splash photos were bizarre.

He understands taking pictures of people he loves, but certainly not strangers, and he would have me take a picture of an unusual building for the architecture, but he wouldn't care how it was lit, or what angle was used, or if there were a million distracting elements in the photo.

He also thinks that the vast majority of the world pretty much thinks the same way, and I believe he is right.

Just an update on THE LENS. My mom showed my grandpa that bw photo I took of the old guy. My grandpa's only comment was, "Why would you take a picture of someone you don't know?"

Hmmm... that was a little deflating, I have to say. :-(

I should have taken an unboxing video of the Wii that arrived yesterday. :) It seems to be the right model, new in box as described, so I'll keep my word to the seller and keep the item. If it was for something that we had absolutely no use for, I would ship it back and reimburse him for shipping. However, Alex has desperately wanted a Wii, and we thought we'd get one or something similar at some point--I just hadn't planned on doing it this soon. And at least Aidan got a good deal on it. :)
