Carolinian's, I am so excited about digital scrapbooking...and I want to find other South Easterners who also like digiscrapping! Hopfully someday soon we'll even have a large enough presence that would warrent a DSE retreat on this side of the country!

Hello, my name is Sandie and I have a EOS 40D. It is my first digital and love it even though I swore I would never go digital! You can't beat instant viewing and almost limitless image storage. I just got back from vacation where I took 414 pictures which were a combination of jpeg and raw. So does anyone have a favorite place to take pics at in the Carolinas? I love waterfalls!

Just two weeks ago, my husband gave me a Canon EOS 50d (20th anniversary gift) to replace the original Canon Digital Rebel (300d). I still plan to keep the Rebel for when I want more than a point and shoot, but environmental conditions would prevent me from wanting the new one there! I bring the Rebel hiking, to the beach (cautiously)...pretty much everywhere! I also want to use it for my children (ages 10&15) as a teaching camera. Then we also have an Olympus Stylus 790 SW (shock & waterproof). It is a great point and shoot plus with it's ruggedness, it's perfect to send with the kids on things like field trips, my husband when he's fishing, or even for me when when an outdoor activity is threatning rain.
