You know that rush of excitement you get when you hit that beautiful download button after making a purchase from the digi candy store? Your heart starts to rush and your fingers tingle with anticipation as you impatiently await those files to make their home on your hard drive. You eagerly unzip the files, open them in Photoshop, and then…all of a sudden, you are stuck. Those lovely papers and elements look back at you and scream “Use me! Create with me!” But your scrapping mojo is stuck in a rut. What’s a scrapper to do?

Never fear, my fellow Spragrounders! We have our awesome creative team here to spark your creativity and get your mojo pumping once again.

First up is our birthday girl Kristen Creech. Every girl needs a tiara on her birthday, don’t you think?

This adorable album features papers from Jessica Sprague’s Princesa Paper Pack and elements from the Princesa Element Pack. So go ahead and connect with your inner princess. She is dying to have one of these!

Here is an amazing layout by Linda Roos featuring the September Paper Collection designed by Crystal Wilkerson.

Look at those classic, beautiful lines. The use of patterned paper is just enough to set off her photos without drawing too much attention away. MMM! Looks good enough to eat, doesn’t it?

You could make this ahead of time and bring as a gift with a space for the pictures. How cute.

I can't for the life of me remember the vendor I got that album from. Jes and I were at a CKC and it was one of the vendors on the floor. I know it wasn't the Rusty Pickle. I love their stuff! I've tried to find it online, and I can't find one exactly the same. Here's a link to one that I actually like even better :-) http://www.scrap-masters.com/b...4oa0c3sun7 I'll see if Jessica remembers who made it!!

Kristen,

OK I feel the pull from the hybrid side--had soooo quit that. I ordered the crown album; have the Princesea Kit and now, big question since I have been away from IRL srcrapping for a couple of years, what is the best adhesive to that the smooth look you have?

TIA!

Susan smilies/cheesy.gif I'm right there with you! Thought I had abandoned paper forever...but hybrid is startin' to call my name. I actually used a tape runner for this project. Glue is not my friend - I can never get it just right. But the item I wished I'd had was a Xyron. {Thinking about using my latest 40% off Michaels coupon for that one (they don't exclude Xyrons if you can believe it!)} But with the tape runner, I had a piece of old cardboard underneath to protect my counters while I was applying the tape on the back of my papers so I could get the tape right on the edges. That's really the biggest thing. Then you can go crazy too in the middle - but getting the edges was key for me. The trickiest part was the sanding the edges. I have discovered sanding sticks called the Big Bro and the Lil Sis which I highly recommend for getting in tight places - like the the crown spires. Here's a link: http://www.creekbankcreations....pn31k18ho2

Another tip too - scan a page from your crown album and save as a 300dpi jpg so you can use it as a clipping mask for your papers - Huge time saver :-)

I can't wait to see how it turns out - I know it will be gorgeous!!smilies/grin.gif
