I started scrapbooking to capture my kids' lives and accomplishments. My three girls have been blessed to be involved in many wonderful things. I started capturing their milestones and activities in their early years, and I later added documentation of high school sports competitions. I love photography and scrapbooking is a natural extension of this love. Photography and scrapbooking help to fuel the innate creative passion that has always been a part of me. Even in my younger years, I created a rudimentary form of a scrapbook, but my love of art activities got pushed aside when I pursued a career in the sciences. Scrapbooking is truly a passion for me. There is nothing better than the feeling I get when I create something that really expresses the feeling of the moment and has that "perfect" balance. It is a hobby that I have been able to transform into a career by offering my scrapbooking services for hire. Thanks, Jessica for opening my eyes to the world of digital, which I am learning by taking your classes. It is so exciting to gain these new skills and add more tools to my box! Trackback(0)

Deb,
Enjoyed reading your *This is Why* you scrap! Your sentiments ring so similar to mine! I also feel lucky that I ran across Jessica online. I was searching for an answer to a PS CS3/digital photo question, which she efficiently answered. Came back to her website to see what she was up to, signed-up for 3 classes thus far & have learned so much from her in such a short period of time. Congratulations on your well-loved career! 1
