This Is Why (Tori Scrapbooks) |

Why do I scrapbook? There are the usual reasons why I scrapbook (which are probably nothing new to most of you): the creative outlet, the stress relief, the telling of my family’s story, et cetera. But the main reason why I scrapbook? It is because I am selfish. Yep, that is what I said. I’m selfish. Let me expound a bit:
But more seriously-
So you see, scrapbooking is such a huge part of me. It really is all about me, what I love, and how it makes me feel. Does this make me sound selfish? If the answer to that is yes, I'll gladly live with the label, maybe even nod my head and agree with it. After all, what is that compared to all the wonderful gifts that scrapbooking has given me, right? (wink!)

That's right ... you are FOREVER in my debt!!! And you ARE selfish - I *LOVE* that about you Makes me feel so much better about my own selfishness!!!! You're welcome to borrow whatever I have (as long as I'm not using it which means the Mac is off limits )

Oh you selfish girl you! I wouldn't want you any other way! Although it seems I saw you wearing a T-shirt last summer that said you were "Perfect!" LOL! I love how you made this awesome list! I'm so glad you had the courage to get on that plane a year ago! It was just great hangin in Chicago with you. Can't wait to hug you again in Utah Sistah!

Tori, you encapsulated this perfectly. This is wonderful. Thank you. (And clearly I am very selfish and proud of it, too. Awesome - but you knew that.)

Great writing Tori - I love the last line about not being invisible even though you aren't in many of the pictures. I relate to that one!!! Keep on scrappin' and thanks for inspiring the rest of us.

I love the way you captured everything you love about our hobby and then captured what it allows you to do. Really wonderful story.

Loved learning more about you, Tori -- and you can add me to the list of "selfish digi-scrappers" I'm trying to convince my Hubby to let me attend DSE in Sept, so maybe I'll get to meet you there!

I think you expressed everyone's thoughts. I feel smart when we speak in digi-language too. I wish everyone else would find out how easy, relaxing and FUN it is too!
Thanks for sharing your talent with me. When I grow up I want to be just like you! Just taller. 18

You guys are awesome! Thanks for all your kind words! Jana - my shirt said "Popular" not perfect, but that is close enough. lol And Beckie, thanks for the reminder that I come to your elbow when standing next to you.
I went to dinner last night with my brother and my hubby to a Chinese restaurant. You will never believe what my fortune had to say!!! This is what it read, "You are never selfish with your help or advice." LOL!!! Perfect timing, huh? I love it. 19
