It's time once again to let your voice be heard! :D We have just launched the Digital Scrapbooking Survey 2009, and we're anxious for your feedback. The survey is 21 questions, which should take you 10-15 minutes. The survey will stay open until 8:00 p.m. Eastern next Friday April 24!

The last question in the survey asks your name and email address, because next Friday at 9:00 p.m. Eastern time, I'll be announcing 10 winners who'll receive a FREE copy of Computer Tricks for Scrapbooking, vol 3, courtesy of our friends over at ideabooks4u.com

In addition, as a special thank-you to everyone who completes the survey, I've got a cute FREE mini-kit I created exclusively for the survey. Here is what the FREE Thank Ya Kindly mini-kit looks like (look for the download link at the very end of the survey):

Ready to grab your cute free mini kit, be entered into the drawing for Computer Tricks 3, and provide us with important feedback? Let's go!

Click here to launch the Digital Scrapbooking Survey 2009.

Feel free to pass the survey link along to your friends, too! :D We are looking forward to hearing from you!

So, I think it's safe to say that we've fallen in love with our computers as memory-keeping tools. And as digital/hybrid scrapbookers I think we find more connection with others online than most traditional scrapbookers do, simply because this is where the other digi's are. :) We are finding each other, and creating communities, and making friends and forming bonds that simply aren't possible in "the real world".  I love it! For me, finding the online scrapbooking communities has completely changed my life, and I know it has changed yours, too!

But I'm wondering, whether our "online-ness" has had an impact on what we actually produce into the physical world, in the form of printed pages.  And I am putting forth the question to you! Read on for a discussion!

I have been thinking a lot lately about what constitutes scrapbooking. Or, more generally, what constitutes memory keeping? With all the cool tools and technology that are becoming available  - everything from blogging to Facebook, to Twitter, to YouTube, to your digital video library living alongside the journal on your nightstand and your traditional scrapbook albums - the places we tell our stories are becoming vastly more varied.

When someone comes back, years from now, to try to get a picture of what your life was like, and what your thoughts were, how will that picture look?{...}
