Hybrid Thursdays Print

Have you ever wondered how you can get more use out of your digital supplies? Are you a scrapper who loves the digi world but still delights in the feel of paper between your fingers and a tape runner in your hands? Then Hybrid Thursdays are just for you. We will show you ideas on how to combine your digital supplies with the paper world to make beautiful creations.

The cooling temperature and crispness in the air inspired me to dig into Crystal Wilkerson’s September ’09 Paper Pack. The yummy warm colors were perfect for creating a custom caramel apple kit.

Creating this caramel apple kit was a cinch on Photoshop. I used my rectangular marquee tool to "cut" pieces of paper into sizes that would fit my box dimensions. I printed them and then adhered them to my box. Using one of Crystal's adorable tags, I was able to customize a title and add it to my box.

The custom apple tag is that little extra that spices up the cuteness. I opened my patterned paper, selected my cookie cutter tool and chose the apple shape. While holding shift down, I was able to create the perfect sized apple for my project. Add in a little ribbon and some apples, and you have one cute customized kit to give as a gift to your neighbors, family, or friends.
