Good morning and Happy February Art Journalers!!!

In looking at our topic this month, photo editing, I did not come up with a prompt, but instead I decided to create a unique and fun art journal page in the style of Claudine Hellmuth. For those of you unfamiliar with her work, she is known for her retro-style whimsical collage pieces where she uses a painted & collaged background and cuts and places bits of photos in them.. usually people's heads. The result is just so much fun!

So I thought for this month, we could create art journal pages in the style of Claudine.

I'm including a background from my recent Journal Your Art Out 5 to get you going this month! I've also got a new tutorial on my blog on how I created my page.

Like this idea of combining photo faces and elements. Used a 70's ish action on the faces to blend in a little, and copied Earl's idea of giving the faces an outline:) Fun.
