"Spring has sprung,
the grass has riz,
I wonder where
the birdies is?"
Spring has finally made it here to Michigan, after a long and brutal winter!! Whoohoo! It was 70 degrees here and I made it out for my first bike ride of the year.
I'm sorry I am late on the challenge this month, but I just got my Mac back from the Apple store last night, where it had been for over a week. It kept shutting down after 20-30 minutes of working, and I lost some files and now I'm behind on everything.
The geniuses tell me it should be fine, but I have my doubts as they were unable to recreate the problem.
Anyway, for this month's challenge, I'd like for you to journal about the SIGNS OF SPRING!
What signs are you seeing that Spring is finally here? At my house, there are buds on the trees and the birds are singing up a storm first thing in the morning, which I just love. Also the warmer temperatures are bringing some April showers
)
Another way that Spring comes to me is that I am wanting to change and grow in certain areas. This year, I am trying to change my diet (which has been hard). I'm also getting back to the kinds of exercise that makes me feel so good - biking and hiking and swimming. I always feel a sense of renewal with the change in seasons, but with Spring especially. How about you? What ways does Spring speak to you? What challenges or opportunities does it bring?
To spark your page, I made a little
April Showers Freebie for you!
When you are done with your journal page, post it in the
Art Journal Challenge Gallery and then come back here to link us up! Remember there are no rules in art journaling, just experiment with techniques and let things flow. You'll be surprised what new things you might learn, or emotions that may come out of this process. That is what it's all about. For me it is a form of meditation. Don't worry so much what things look like or try and be perfect. Just play and enjoy!
Hugs!
Nan
