Hello Digital Art Journalers!! I hope you are doing well. I have to tell you how much I've loved seeing your pages these past few months. You all inspire me with your creativity and your takes on our art journal prompts.
We are leaving for Las Vegas on a family vacation tomorrow so I wanted to get our prompt up early. I know, Vegas doesn't exactly sound like a family vacation spot, but John's mom has a beautiful house there with a pool, hot tub and views of the mountains. It is really stunning and a great getaway for us!
Okay, are you ready for this month's challenge? I wanted to do something a bit different than what we usually do. Our prompt this month is not just a thought starter but also is a jumping off point for you to explore on your own. Our prompt is "COLORFUL". What does this word mean to you? In what ways is your life "colorful"? Is it in the people you know? Your daily activities? Or is it something that is visually stunning and full of color that excites you? Artwork? Photography? Landscapes?
Whatever it is, I want to know about it!
To get you started on your Art Journal Page, I wanted to show you what "COLORFUL" means to me. I am most inspired by abstract paintings that are full of color and paint. One of the artists I enjoy is Sandy Welch.
