Hey- I recently got a new computer and find that during the transfer, my categories on my digistuff got lost. I have thousands of things in there and it would be impossible to re-categorize. I wrote to ACDSee support and the long explanation of what to do- didn't work. (and they won't answer me again) Can I possibly recover the database from my Carbonite and see if that works? I'm really not sure how to do that either. (would I then have 2 copies of everything??) I'm so confused- can anybody help??

That happened to me when I had my hard drive replaced. My son-in-law did find the files somewhere in the files I got from Backblaze. So keep digging. I would nag carbonite or go to their community to see some help. I'm sure there is some out there. We are doing the same thing with ACDSee.
