Yes, I was able to complete checkout using my Visa credit card. This is the message I got:

I've been waiting for almost 2 hours but no email has come in yet, and I haven't received a registration number, so I'm worried that my registration didn't get through even if I got the "registration complete" message? Do you suggest that I re-register all over again?

Hi Jared, sorry, I just realized I don't seem to have answered your question directly. Yes, I did complete checkout and I got that message that my registration was complete and that I needed to activate it through an email link that you would send me. Someone else who registered got a registration number when she activated the link-I haven't received any email nor any registration number so I'm afraid that my registration might not be recognized? I can always re-register before 12 midnight EST but won't that mean that I'd get billed twice by Visa? And if I do need to re-register, could I still use the coupon code that I got through my newsletter or would it be void by then? How I wish it's just another one of the glitches in the system and that I will soon receive the email from you! I'll wait for your advice--thanks Jared.

Ah yes, that message is the message you receive when you register your user account not completing the order. As part of the checkout process if you're not logged in you can either login or register as a user right there. If you register a user right then you get that message, but you havent completed your checkout yet. I can see why that would be confusing. So no worries, you didnt complete your order and havent been charged.

I've changed it so that you don't have to wait for an activation email once you've registered as a user. So as soon as PayPal comes back online I'll re-enable the "Add to Cart" button, and you can checkout and everything should be fine.

There still is plenty of time to register. I know it's late where you are so don't feel like you need to stay up.

FYI -- PAYPAL as of 3:20 pm Eastern was still down (I checked at two different sites, besides this one) Bummer

I understand now, I wasn't getting a confirmation for the class but a confirmation of my being a user... the thing is I had to register using a new username and a new email address in the account info part because I kept getting messages that my username was in use and that my password was already taken and that my email address was already in use. In other words, I couldn't complete the form until I filled in new details. Then when it told me "registration complete", I thought it meant my checkout was successful. Alack! I hope I don't encounter the same problems when the Add to Cart button gets fixed-any advice for me to ensure that the same thing doesn't happen when I get to the credit card info part? I think I'll still wait a bit for things to get fixed (unless my eyes close on their own, harhar)-I don't want to get closed out as I'd been waiting at here and at spraguelab for this hours before registration opened I really would like to make it into the class. Just want you to know that we all truly appreciate all the hard work you're putting into this, and we're all so lucky Jessica has you to make things work so we can all attend her class. Thanks again. I'll keep my fingers crossed and pray that the paypal glitches get resolved soon-and that my checkout is successful this time!- so I can sleep soundly!

If you're posting on the forums, you're already registered as a user. The registration for the online course will be done by clicking on the "Add to Cart" button on the product detail page, which is temporarily disabled until PayPal.com starts accepting payments again.

Please be patient, I expect that PayPal will start working again soon.

Thank you Jared. I didn't see any "Add to Cart" button on the product detail page and figured I was in the wrong place. "Patience" is my middle name so I'll try to be cool. We just can't get enough of Jessica and her wonderful tutorials!

Yes I have seen that &quot;your cart is empty&quot; message myself and I'm working to figure out why. Usualy if you just login again on the left side login form, and try again, it works.

It did the same for me, so I just logged in again and added to my cart again. I was then able to enter my CC info and I GOT REGISTERED!!! YAY!!! I'm #81.

I'm in -- #162 ... whew, sure glad they expanded the class size!

I was finally able to get signed up for the class! I am so excited and can't wait to join the fun.
