new "Photos" app 9 Years ago
Hi! I'm hoping someone can help me because my google searches are coming up empty.

I recently moved from iPhoto to Photos on my iMac. I used to be able to drag from iPhoto right into CS6, but I cannot for the life of me figure out how to do this in Photos. Would they have removed that functionality??

Thanks!
Chrystal

I hope not! I haven't had a chance to open mine yet but you might post on Adobe and see what they know.

here's what they said:

"You can't set anything for an external editor in Photos, at least not in the current version.

(you would have to export the image out of Photos before you can edit it in ps)"

also

According to the Apple forum, it requires an extension from the third party, i.e.. Adobe to make this work again.

This is a real bummer for me, because I usually just drag and drop from iPhoto to CS6!
