I began the concept of Up & Running classes with the intention creating a second "track" specifically for users of the full version. Wanna tell me how you feel about that?

That would be a great option Jessica! I mainly use Photoshop CS for my scrapping, but also have Elements 5.0 (I use it for cataloguing my photos & digi-scrapping kits).

Full version more intermediate and advance classes would be something I'd love to see.

Thanks for offering such a wonderful resource, I can't wait to see how it grows over time.

I've got CS3, but am still more proficient with PSE5.0 for scrapbooking purposes. I use CS3 mainly for image processing, and PSE5 for layout.

Would love to see more advanced digi-scrapping courses in the future, but still going to try to get into this class, in case I've missed some gem of wisdom along the way!! Thanks for doing these!

I'd love that option! I'm self-taught in Photoshop so I know how to do lots of things, but my methods aren't necessarily the most efficient (or most effective as I'm learning all the time) ways to do things.

I use CS2 but I know there is soooo much about it I just don't know. I'm like the above poster, self taught so I know my 'methods' are probably not the most efficient

I am sooo taking the class even if it is for elements, I know I will learn a ton. I just can't believe you are actually going to do this.

So I am not sure if I helped with your ?? but any classes in CS2 I am there! (well any of your classes I am there)

I don't have Elements - just CS3, so that would be great. I'm another self-taught user.

I only use CS2. I started out with PSE 2.0 but upgraded because I wanted to be able to write text on paths - plus it was a gift from a friend so I was really lucky to get it! I'm also self-taught and honestly have learned most of my PS skills from PS Fridays!

I would love a CS2 option. I use PSE5 mostly, but recently installed CS2 just for the use of some actions that I love. I would really enjoy getting to know that program more!

I use CS2 and would love classes or tutorials specific for those. I think it's great that on most of your tutorials you give directions for both. I know it's more work for you.

Please forgive my ignorance, but what, exactly, is the CS series and how does it differ from regular Photoshop and the Photoshop Elements series? I have "Adobe Photoshop 7.0" and Elements 3.0 and both are confusing to me. I just ordered Elements 5.0, but should I have gotten a "CS" program instead ?

I love playing with my photos in my Roxio Photosuite program, but I know I could do so much more in Photoshop, if I could only grasp the technical concepts...

Sorry for the long post - didn't intend to hijack this thread !

I came here looking for a chance to ask about full version photoshop class and here it is. I currently have pscs. I am looking to upgrade to cs3 as soon as a good coupon offer comes for upgrading. I have heard it is worth the upgrade. So here I am checking in as requested. I can hardly wait. I already LOVE the Computer Tips book you did. Want more!!

I use PSCS2, and only use it for scrapbooking. The only things I know in this program are the scrapbooking things I use to make layouts. I have lots more to learn in creating my own stuff.

I currently use CS2 but will be upgrading to CS3 in a few months. Pretty much everything I learned about PS is from trial and error, your PS Fridays, and Katie and Pattie's chats at DD. I would love some advanced classes. Anything from photo editing and retouching, brushes, masks, etc. I would love to learn about dodging and burning to make things look more realistic. Being a former paper scrapper, my only complaint about digital is that my layouts don't have enough depth and realism (due to my lack of knowledge).

I currently have only used Elements for scrapbooking but have CS2. (I hate to admit it but I've been afraid to load it and begin another sharp learning curve -- ridiculous, huh!) Perhaps with Jessica holding my hand, I could take that next step.

Thanks for asking that question...I have both programs, CS as well as Elements 5. I use both, since Elements is new to me...I prefer CS. It seems that I can do "more" with CS. What that said, I am wanting to learn all/anything about PHOTOSHOP CS or ELEMENTS. I will take whatever you are willing to teach!!! I would love to take a class with either. Thanks so much.

I would love an advanced CS2 class. I don't know when I'll be upgrading, although I know not as soon as I would like. I also have PSE4 and PSE5 although I really don't use them. I need a lot of PSCS2 help though!!
