I had my PSE 11 crash. When I reopened it, all my custom brushes, and custom set up were gone, so I have been reloading my brushes, and organizing my work space. I notice now when I type a word or phrase, when I hit the shift key to add another line of text, the move box surrounds the text, and I have to click on the Text tool again before I can type in the new spot. I know there is someway to set the text so this does not happen, but I cannot remember how. Can anyone help me. Thanks.

How frustrating to have your program crash!

I haven't used PSE for awhile, so right off the top of my head I can't remember how to fix this. However, I did open PSE 11 and typed some text to see what would happen. With my setup I don't have to hold Shift; I click to set the text, then click again to start another line. Can you do that?

I'm bumping this thread again so it will get attention. Hopefully someone with more PSE experience will see it.

I went poking around a little more. Try this: In the General Preferences, make sure the "Select Move tool after committing text" box is unchecked.
