One of our dear sprague gals and an original here passed away yesterday afternoon in her sleep. Marcie was battling cancer and had hit some rough spots. She is at peace now with her Father. I know many of you know her for all the help she provided during many of the beta classes early on. I met Marcie at my 50th birthday celebration and she was as special and as beautiful in person as on line here. She was a photoshop guru, an ACDSee master, a woman of faith, a loving mom, a doting grandmother and a friend. Rest in Peace, sweet Marcie.

I am so sorry to hear this. Marcie was such an inspiration in her scrapping and in her life. I know she'll enjoy celebrating Christmas in heaven!

Yes, that is so sad. I wondered about her as I had not seen her around digi-land for a while. I pray that her family can find some peace knowing that she is no longer suffering, but it is never easy to say goodbye to a loved one.

Mourning along with many of you who knew and loved our feisty Marcie. She is dancing with angels now but we will miss her.

So sad - but thankful she is pain free and in His presence. Praying for her family and friends as they remember her.

I only just now saw this news ... I'm so sad, have a huge lump in my throat, and am angry at cancer. But happy to know that Marcie is safe and well now. Maybe my Mama Trudy will give her a big hug.

very sad...rest in peace

Just learned about Marcie's passing a little while ago... As with some of the others here, I only knew her from the Spraground and on Facebook. I found her to be a delightful, kind, warm and welcoming woman. It's sad that we will not see her here on the boards or in the galleries, but I rejoice in that she is now pain-free and celebrating Christ's birth in His Presence

My prayers go out to her family and friends - may they embrace the peace and comfort of GOD during this time and may they find joy and gladness in their hearts as they remember this lovely woman.

May she rest in peace. I'm grateful she's no longer suffering, but saddened at the loss of a special friend whom I met here at JS. Marcie made my avatar from two separate photos using her fab photoshop skills. I will think of her every time I see it. My thoughts and prayers are with her loved ones at this difficult time.

Marcie was one of the very earliest members of the Spraground. She will be greatly missed.

This makes me so very sad. I remember her in some of the classes. The love for her on here goes to show what a special place this is.

I have been away for a while, but I remember Marcie very fondly. She was so sweet and always willing to help. This is indeed a sad moment for us. She will be greatly missed. Thank you for letting us know.
