I have been scrapping with PSE 6 for a long time. I am now using PSE 9 and I know I must have just missed a setting because often when I try resize a picture, it does this funky thing where, as I am resizing it (corner transform handle), the picture suddenly moves/jumps to another part of the layout and I can move my mouse and get it back, but it is a GIANT pain to deal with. Often I just have to let go and click on the red button to start over on the re-size.

Anyone have any idea what I am doing wrong?!

that's weird! Maybe check to see if you have snap to grid or snap to guide on (i think it's under View > Snap To and then see if there are check marks next to grid or guide. I can't really image that this would be the problem but I can't think of anything else.
